RCA Nashville duo Seaforth was named Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year-Nashville at the Global APRA Music Awards Nashville Sunday night.

The duo (Tom Jordan, Mitch Thompson) was presented with it’s first major Award win by legendary rocker Brian Cadd. Later in the ceremony, Seaforth performed “Love Me Like You” in honor of Songwriter of the Year-Nashville honoree Phil Barton, as well as debut single “Love That.”

The awards were presented by APRA AMCOS (Australasian Performing Right Association and Australasian Mechanical Copyright Owners Society) and given to Nashville-based Australasian songwriters, composers and publishers achieving artistic excellence and commercial success.
