RYAN HURD SURPASSES 1 BILLION TOTAL ON DEMAND STREAMS

RECEIVES GRAMMY NOMINATION FOR BEST COUNTRY SONG FOR MAREN MORRIS’ “CIRCLES AROUND THIS TOWN”

CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED DEBUT ALBUM PELAGO OUT NOW

Rising country powerhouse Ryan Hurd celebrates surpassing over 1 Billion career on-demand streams.  This feat comes on the heels on Hurd’s second Grammy nomination for Best Country Song for his songwriting work on Maren Morris’ “Circles Around This Town.”

Hurd spent the better part of 2022 touring in support of his debut album Pelago, which was released last year to critical acclaim. The 30-city headline tour reached  fans all across the US including Nashville, TN, Chicago, IL, San Martin, CA, Boise, ID, Seattle, WA and more. Hurd has also played major festivals including Stagecoach, Summerfest and iHeart Music Festival and toured with the like of Sam Hunt, Thomas Rhett, Darius Rucker and Lady A. Hurd made a special appearance Friday night to perform “I Can’t Love You Anymore” at Morris’ Bridgestone Arena Show (picture here).

Pelago reached the top five of Spotify’s most streamed country albums and features “Chasing After You,” the #1, Platinum-certified duet with Maren Morris, which earned a nomination for Best Country Duo/Group Performance at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards, as well as two nominations at The 55th Annual CMA Awards including Musical Event of the Year and Music Video of the Year.

Known for penning Platinum #1 hits for Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Lady A and more, Hurd continues 2022 writing on songs for Jordan Davis (“What My World Spins Around” – currently Top 10), Connor Smith (“Take It Slow”), Breland (Happy Song”, Maddie & Tae (Well In Your World), Adam Doleac (“Fake Love”) and Morris (“I Can’t Love You Anymore”).  Hurd recently won a 2022 ASCAP Country Award for Luke Bryan’s “Waves.”

“Traversing uncharted territory, he stamps each song with a distinctive, stylistic mark. Lyrically, Pelago makes sense of Hurd’s story with inviting vulnerability, allowing his listeners to find pieces of themselves within the deeply personal project.

NATE SMITH DROPS “WRECKAGE”

DEBUT, SELF-TITLED ALBUM ARRIVING FEB. 17 – TRACK LISTING AVAILABLE NOW

Arista Nashville/Sony Music Nashville rising star Nate Smith released a brand new track today, “Wreckage.” The song will appear on his debut, self-titled album arriving Feb. 17. Listen to “Wreckage” and pre-add/order/save the full-length project HERE.

Written by Nate alongside Mary Kutter, Chris Sligh and Paul Wrock, “Wreckage” first captivated fans when he shared part of the song on his social media platforms, growing his collective following by 270k+ since the first time he previewed the track. The gripping and emotive song will be featured on his upcoming, self-titled album along with his current Gold-certified single “Whiskey On You,” which is Top 15 and climbing at country radio, as well as recent releases “I Found You” and “I Don’t Wanna Go To Heaven.”

Nate shared about the impending full-length project: “It has been so much fun making this album, and I really believe in every one of these songs. Releasing an album has always been a goal of mine, but at the end of the day it’s really not about me. It’s about being able to reach other people with music that means something.” He added that his mission with his music is to be a “conduit of hope”; a selfless and passionate driving force that’s thematic in his songs. “I’m not trying to be cool, or reinvent the wheel, or chase musical trends…I’m going after the heart of the matter.”

Nate’s journey to Nashville and the challenges he endured along the way are traceable in his gravelly tone, including losing his hometown of Paradise, CA to Camp Fire, the deadliest and most destructive fire in the state’s history. Following the fire, Nate turned to music to cope, eventually inspiring a cross-country road trip to Nashville to pursue music fulltime. Coincidentally, the announcement of his debut album arrived on the four-year anniversary of the start of the fire (Nov. 8, 2018).

Through all the hardships, the rising star found purpose and hope. Like Nate, the 20-song collection is honest, raw, real, and threaded together with optimism. While each song tells its own story, Nate unveils two sides of his artistry through the project: deep, heartfelt ballads and fun-loving, drink in the air, country jams. The two are intertwined with undeniable hooks and his signature velvet thunder vocals.

Nate will be joining Thomas Rhett on his HOME TEAM TOUR 23, which will kick off May 4 in Des Moines, IA, and will hit a total of 40 cities next summer. Tickets are on sale now. Additionally, Nate was recently named the final member of the Grand Ole Opry’s NextStage Class of 2022, where he’ll take the stage on November 20 for their Opry NextStage Live In Concert, presented by Geico, alongside other 2022 NextStage artists Elvie Shane, BRELAND, Restless Road, and Conner Smith. TENILLE TOWNES MAKES ACTING DEBUT IN HALLMARK MOVIES & MYSTERIES ORIGINAL
“TIME FOR HIM TO COME HOME FOR CHRISTMAS”

BLAKE SHELTON EXECUTIVE-PRODUCED FLICK PREMIERES NOV. 26

CCMA Entertainer of the Year and ACM Award winning singer, songwriter, and performer Tenille Townes will make her acting debut in Hallmark Movies & Mysteries new original “Time for Him to Come Home for Christmas.”

“Growing up in my house at Christmas time, we always had the Hallmark channel on. It always set the scene for the holiday season, and this is truly such a cool full circle,” said Townes. “It was an honour to be a part of this and it was such a fun experience getting to say a few lines and put on a concert in a movie for the first time! The entire crew and cast were lovely to work with and I loved learning how it all comes together. Can’t wait to celebrate the holidays, being a part of this movie this year!”

Starring Holland Roden (“Mayans M.C.”) and Tyler Hynes (“Letterkenny”), “Time for Him to Come Home for Christmas” is a new original premiering Saturday, November 26 (10 p.m. ET/PT) on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries as part of the network’s annual “Miracles of Christmas” programming event. The movie is the fifth installment from executive producer Blake Shelton, based on the book Time for Me to Come Home by Dorothy Shackleford and Travis Thrasher, and Shelton’s song of the same name, which Townes performs during the film.

The film begins four days before Christmas when Elizabeth Athens (Roden) receives a voicemail from a number she doesn’t recognize. On it, a man she doesn’t know makes one final plea to the love of his life for a second chance, asking to meet on Christmas Eve at the unnamed spot where they first met.  Elizabeth realizes that this message is not meant for her, and the outcome of someone else’s love story is now in her hands. As she’s swept into the search for the mystery caller, she’s reunited with her best friend Josh (Hynes), who is home for Christmas for the first time in years after a tragic event in the past split them apart. On this very special Christmas, a wrong number will put Elizabeth on an exciting journey of romance and adventure that will give her and three other lost souls a second chance at happiness.

Townes recently wrapped both an acclaimed European tour and her SAME ROAD HOME TOUR throughout the U.S. Her west coast SIDE A + B TOUR will kick off in January.

MITCHELL TENPENNY RELEASES NEW SINGLE TO COUNTRY RADIO AFTER MAKING CHART HISTORY WITH SHORTEST SPAN BETWEEN BACK-TO-BACK #1 SINGLES

“WE GOT HISTORY” TO COUNTRY RADIO TODAY!

Riser House/Columbia Nashville/Sony Music Nashville artist Mitchell Tenpenny is releasing a new single to country radio today, “We Got History,” from his new album This Is The Heavy released in September. The song comes on the heels of Mitchell’s history making success with the shortest time between #1 songs in the modern chart era with a three-week span between “Truth About You” and “At The End Of A Bar” with Chris Young.

Mitchell, who wrote “We Got History” with Andy Albert, Devin Dawson, and Jordan Schmidt said, “Everybody has a story and a past. You don’t always have to hate where you come from. It’s ok to remember who got you to where you are. There is a respect that is mature and healthy and that’s what I wanted to talk about in this song. I’m so pumped for this to be my next single at country radio.”

MusicRow Magazine heralded the new album, “Mitchell Tenpenny blazes his own trail on new 20-track album. A charming facet to Tenpenny’s music that has been ever-present since the beginning is his references to Nashville. Between him singing about a house party off of Franklin Pike on ‘More Than Whiskey Does’ and his many mentions of bars in midtown, the songwriter is intentional with including details about his hometown.” Nash News said, “This collection has the makings to take Tenpenny to new heights. It’s adventurous enough to draw new fans in and is authentically Tenpenny enough for his existing following. Whether he’s singing about not wanting to see an ex, drinking through a heartache, or being lost in memories, he is able to tell the descriptive stories he wants to.” Entertainment Focus shared, “Ask anyone in Nashville who the best five singers in town are and I’ll bet you any amount of the money that the name that comes up amongst the most will be Mitchell Tenpenny.”

Fresh off this year’s guest slot on Luke Bryan’s “Raised Up Right Tour,” Mitchell will launch his own headline tour in 2023, “This Is The Heavy Tour.” Due to popular demand for tickets when the tour went on sale, additional shows were added to the schedule. Warner Music Nashville’s Tyler Braden will open most dates. Tickets are available now at mitchell10penny.com. The tour includes back-to-back concerts at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on February 3 & 4. Mitchell, a Nashville native, sold-out his first-ever headline concert there in the fall of 2021 and deemed it ‘a childhood dream come true.”

MORGAN WADE SHARES “THE NIGHT (PART 2),”
SEQUEL TO HER DEBUT RELEASE “THE NIGHT”

TEAMS UP WITH GRAMMY NOMINATED DIRECTOR P.R. BROWN FOR BOTH OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEOS

WATCH “THE NIGHT” HERE & “THE NIGHT (PART 2)” HERE

2023 NO SLOWING DOWN TOUR SELLING OUT FAST; ADDED DATES, UPGRADED ROOMS; 25 DATES ALREADY SOLD OUT

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Morgan Wade continues the story of her debut release, “The Night,” today with “The Night (Part 2).” Listenhere. The intertwined tracks are available now on a two-sided 7” vinyl via MorganWadeMusic.com.

Originally released as a self-financed single, “The Night” (co-written with co-producer Sadler Vaden) instantly and viscerally connected with audiences, leading to her deeply personal critically acclaimed debut project RecklessRolling Stone’s No. 1 Country Album of 2021. The most confessional work from a particularly soul-baring writer, “The Night” recalls some of the struggles Wade has navigated while finding sobriety, and above all, herself.

More electronic and subdued, “The Night (Part 2)” considers her reckoning with desperation and the daily battle to hang on – even from the other side of recovery. Across a shimmering, minimalist track, she confesses, “I’m at war with myself, battered and bruised from my mental health…” She reminds listeners the struggle is real, to be vigilant and not give up. Just as importantly, she shines as an example of a sober life lived. Her performance shows a woman struggling with powerful emotions, but also rising to the freedom her songs and living on her terms provide.

Additionally, Wade appears in dual music videos for the brutally honest duo of songs, directed by GRAMMY nominee P.R. Brown. A renowned visual artist, Brown has directed videos for the likes of Prince, Green Day, Stone Temple Pilots, Miley Cyrus, Death Cab for Cutie, Meat Loaf, My Chemical Romance, and many more. Brown’s videos seek to mirror the stark emptiness and alienation that drives “The Night,” before coming to a more alive reality for “The Night, Pt. 2.”Watch “The Night” and “The Night (Part 2)” now.

“P.R. sent a treatment that stopped me in my tracks,” Wade offers. “He seemed to crawl into the two songs, just ingested them in all the shattered bits – and wrote this interconnected treatment that traced not just a mental breakdown, but how fragile maintaining one’s equilibrium even when you’ve been figured out the meds or the reasons or whatever else you need to stay sane.  “He’s worked with everyone. The fact that he wanted to work with me was amazing, but what he sent us about how saw and wanted to capture the song, it was shocking how completely he understood the things I was writing about.”

“As a director I am drawn to people who have something to say and feel what they present as an artist,” says Brown.  “When I first heard Night 1 and 2 from Morgan, I was captivated by the raw honesty she was singing about. When we started coming up with the concepts for the two videos, I knew that it had to be about her journey, what she went through and how she got to where she is now. Life is abstract and each person has their own path that they take along the way. These videos are symbolic impressions of the path Morgan has traveled. I spent 4 nights by myself wandering downtown NYC to capture life as it unfolded. The whole time I was thinking about how Morgan had been to the same places and what she was going through. After capturing that footage we found a way to tell her story without being so specific that others could not relate. I am so proud of what we created together and Morgan’s willingness to relive some of her journey through her stunning performance.”

Having spent 2022 touring with the likes of Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, Brooks & Dunn, turnpike Troubadours, and more, Wade will embark on her headlining NO SIGNS OF SLOWING DOWN TOUR in early 2023. Already selling out 25 of the run’s 38 performances, Wade added seven new dates and moved eight shows to larger venues to meet ravenous fan demand. She is hard at work on the follow-up to the massively acclaimed Reckless, with new music expected soon.

ELLE KING RELEASES TYLER CHILDERS’ “JERSEY GIANT”

Award winning, singer-songwriter Elle King is dropping “Jersey Giant,” a never-before-released song by acclaimed artist Tyler Childers.  “Jersey Giant,” is available here: https://EK.lnk.to/JerseyGiant

“Tyler Childers is from not too far from where my family lives and he’s a legend,” said King. “The life of a song is something so beautiful to me, and country music has taught me to see that the opportunity to sing a song written by someone else, is nothing short of a gift, a blessing. When you hear a song and say ‘I wish I wrote that’ you know it’s a good’n. I was humbled and so excited that Tyler gave his song to me. I tried to blend the two worlds of honoring traditional bluegrass and what country music is to me. Thank you, Tyler for your music, and thank you for entrusting me with this gift. I’m so excited for everyone to hear it.”

“I wrote ‘Jersey Giant’ over ten years ago and only performed it for a short period of time,” said Childers. “I was pleased with how it turned out structurally (it even has a bridge, which is rare for me), but I was over performing it pretty fast. I reckon that’s just how songs go sometimes. They can be like that coat you saw and had to have, only to get it home and think, ‘Why gah, I ain’t never gonna wear this thing.’ Or, one that you got from an ex which you would rather just toss out. But that’s not saying anything against the coat, it just doesn’t fit me anymore and hasn’t for some time. I’m super excited that Ms. King has dusted this old song off and given it a new life. I’m extremely grateful for her seeing the potential in this tune and wish her the best out there on the road. Break a leg Elle! And stay warm.”

King, who provides lead and background vocals and is featured on acoustic guitar, co-produced the track with award-winning, singer-writer and multi-instrumentalist and reigning ACM Acoustic Guitar Player of the Year, Charlie Worsham. Worsham lends his signature sound for background vocals, plus acoustic guitar, mandolin and banjo.

King will join Childers on his 2023 Send in the Hounds Tour at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on August 2nd and 3rd

King is set to release her new album “Come Get Your Wife,” on Jan. 27. The record will include her current single, “Worth A Shot” (feat. Dierks Bentley) which hit # 1 this past weekend on SiriusXM’s, The Highway Hot 30 Countdown.

Other tracks already available from the new record are the feisty “Try Jesus,” “Out Yonder,” and “Drunk (And I Don’t Want To Go Home,” with Miranda Lambert. “Drunk” became the first the first woman-woman collaboration to reach the top-spot on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart since Reba McEntire and Linda Davis’ “Does He Love You,” in 1993.
