CCMA ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR TENILLE TOWNES TO EMBARK ON SIDE A + B TOUR IN 2023

CONTINUES TOWNES’ CREATIVE EXPLORATION OF DUALITY

Reigning CCMA Entertainer of the year and two-time ACM Award winner Tenille Townes will embark on her SIDE A + B TOUR in January, continuing to demonstrate how Townes has explored duality throughout her most recent works. Kicking off Jan. 18 in Portland, OR, tickets are available beginning Oct. 21 at TenilleTownes.com/#Tour

“We’re going to be doing something a little different on this tour, creating a show that reflects both sides of who I am and the music I make: the reflective songwriter and the rock and roll entertainer all in one setlist,” said Townes. “I can’t wait to see everybody at these clubs, singing these songs and coming together as our community!”

Having earned her Entertainer of the Year title delivering heart wrenching, personal ballads that can stop an audience in their tracks coupled with searing, high-energy moments, Townes’ latest trek will reflect the duality that inspired her project Masquerades. Featuring collaborations “Shared Walls” with BRELAND and “When You Need It” with Wrabel, Masquerades earned superlatives from The Boot (“excellent”), Essentially Pop (“brilliant”), Wide Open Country (“full of great songs”), and more, in addition to being named Ford F-150 Album of the Year at the 2022 CCMA Awards.

Townes recently joined JUNO award-winning Canadian indie-pop band Walk off the Earth for their new single “Tomorrow Can Wait,” as well as her own new song “The Last Time,” which she premiered at the 2022 Canadian Country Music Association Awards. Townes, who co-hosted the awards alongside Blanco Brown, earned trophies for Single of the Year and Songwriter of the Year (both for “Girl Who Didn’t Care,” co-written with Steph Jones and David Pramik), her fourth consecutive Female Artist of the Year award, as well as her Entertainer and Album of the Year honors.

She is nominated for the Country Music Association’s International Artist Achievement Award while in the midst of her European tour that continues Oct. 17 in Glasgow. She’ll continue her own headlining dates stateside with a performance Nov. 2 at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City.

RCA Nashville Artist Corey Kent ‘Takes In The Moment’ And Releases “How You Know You Made It”

Listen Here

Hit Single “Wild As Her” Continues Its Rise With Over 136 Million Streams; RIAA Certified Gold Before Hitting Top 40 At Country Radio

Headlining Dates Through November

One of country music’s most exciting new acts and RCA Nashville/Sony Music Nashville signee, Corey Kent, relishes in the moment and releases “How You Know You Made It” (Listen Here).  The Jay Joyce produced track was written by Kent, AJ Prunis and Smith Ahnquist and showcases Kent’s signature heart and grit in both his lyrics and performance.

“I spent years trying to ‘make it’ in the music industry,” says Kent. “Trying to make a name for myself. Trying to make a dollar. I was newly married to my wife, just had our first baby girl and I was more focused on providing for her than being there for her.  I took for granted the things in life that really mattered.  I was so busy chasing a dream that I couldn’t see that I had THE DREAM right in front of me the whole time. Now after moving to Texas to be closer to family, working for a pavement company through COVID, and playing over a hundred shows in 2021, here we are with an unimaginable year of success. A lot of people are telling us we just might be the next big thing; that we are going to “make it.” And hell, maybe they’re right. Maybe it’s our time. But what they don’t know is…

I got a house that’s home.

I got a can that’s cold.

I got a hand to hold.

We already made it.”

See Full Lyrics here.

Kent’s explosive single, “Wild As Her,” captured the attention of audiences everywhere and continues to be one of the breakout songs of the year.  The track has garnered over 136 million on-demand streams and is RIAA certified Gold before even hitting the Top 40 at Country Radio.  The free-spirited and high-energy track landed Kent his first-ever entry onto the Billboard Hot 100, reached #15 on the Hot Country Songs Chart and is continuing to rise up the Country Radio charts. Watch the “Wild As Her” music video here.  Just last month, Kent released “Hood of That Car” which was written by Kent, Blake Chaffin, Jack Hummel, and Jacob Lutz, and produced by Chris Farren, listen here.

Kent is currently on the road headlining his own dates and making some stops at some festivals.  He just wrapped a string of sold out co-headlining dates with Bailey Zimmerman last week, For more information on the tour please visit: https://www.coreykentofficial.com/#tour.

LUKE COMBS’ WORLD TOUR BREAKS GLOBAL RECORDS, 37 OF 39 SHOWS SELL OUT IMMEDIATELY INCLUDING ALL SIXTEEN STADIUM DATES

ACHIEVES 14TH CONSECUTIVE #1 WITH “THE KIND OF LOVE WE MAKE,” #8 ON ALL-GENRE BILLBOARD HOT 100

In yet another unprecedented feat, country superstar and reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year Luke Combsimmediately sold out 37 of the 39 shows on his massive World Tour, including all sixteen of the North American stadium dates as well as the four new shows added in London, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane due to overwhelming demand.

The tour broke multiple records across the world including the fastest sell-outs ever at Arlington’s AT&T Stadium and St. Louis’ Busch Stadium as well as the fastest sell-out by a first time Gillette Stadium performer in any genre. It also ranks as one of the fastest selling arena tours ever by a country artist in the UK, while Combs is the first international artist to sell-out an Australian and New Zealand tour, which he did within just hours. The Stockholm show has also been moved to a larger venue (Avicii Arena) to accommodate ticket demand. See below for complete itinerary.

The tour is just the latest milestone for Combs, who recently achieved his record-breaking 14th-consecutive #1 with “The Kind of Love We Make,” which also reached #8 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 chart. Combs is also nominated for three awards at the 2022 CMA Awards: Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year for his acclaimed new record, Growin’ Up. Out now via River House Artists/Columbia Nashville (stream/purchase here), Growin’ Up debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and follows 2019’s 3x Platinum What You See is What You Get and his 4x Platinum debut, This One’s For You.

Critical acclaim for Growin’ Up:

“one of country music’s biggest stars…He’s accomplished this not with virtuosic musical innovation, genre-crossing celebrity collaborations or by hosting a television singing competition, but by cranking out one irrepressibly catchy, widely relatable meat-and-potatoes country anthem after another.”
The New York Times

“an authentic creative force, capitalizing on his man-of-the-people status to release music that resonates with wide swaths of listeners…as an artist, he’s making his biggest strides yet”—Grammy.com

“He’s emerged as the field’s much-loved everyman with hits that country aficionados could not possibly resist”—The Wall Street Journal

“his detail-rich songs make Growin’ Up a big-time country album with a tip-jar-worthy intimacy”
Rolling Stone

“a superstar”—Billboard

“a superstar who is shaping the future of the genre while also serving as one of its fiercest defenders”
The Washington Post

“Take a voice that projects major-league virility but also vulnerability, sprinkle in some core-songwriting-team prowess with lyrical and musical hooks, and then most of all, don’t step on the agreeable, humble personality of somebody who—in contrast to a lot of the bro-country that’s been out there—seems like someone you wouldn’t mind having as an actual brother.”—Variety

“one of music’s mightiest voices and a hitmaking force arguably unlike any seen out of Nashville this century”—USA Today

“an uncharacteristically humble, down-to-earth, hardworking, fiercely loyal teddy bear of a country star…a true country-music behemoth”—Vulture

“Luke Combs isn’t just a country star…he made an excellent case for being a top-tier pop star, regardless of genre.”—The Tennessean

“Combs struts his usual guitar-heavy songs with a certain nuance”—American Songwriter

A member of the Grand Ole Opry and a 6x CMA, 3x ACM, 3x Billboard Music Award-winner, Combs is in the midst of a record-setting and historic series of years. His previous release, What You See Ain’t Always What You Get, debuted at #1 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart as well as Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. With the record Combs reached #1 on Rolling Stone’s Top 200 Albums chart, Top 100 Songs chart and Artists 500 chart—the first country artist ever to lead all three charts in the same week and first to top the Artists 500. He also made history as the first artist ever to have their first two studio albums spend 25 weeks or more at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart—breaking Taylor Swift’s previously held record at 24 weeks.

ANDREW JANNAKOS DEBUTS LONG-AWAITED NEW SONG, “HEAVEN’S LIKE A HOMETOWN”

RCA Nashville/Sony Music Nashville rising star Andrew Jannakos debuted a new song today, “Heaven’s Like A Hometown.” Listen to the song here and watch the lyric video here.

“‘Heaven’s Like A Hometown’ is a song about hoping all your favorite people and things from your hometown are in Heaven when you get there, like Friday night football, fishing at my honey holes with my grandpa who has passed, and going to the Texaco with my buddies,” Jannakos said.

Written by Jannakos alongside Eric Arjes, Matthew McGinn, and Jordan Minton, “Heaven’s Like A Hometown” is the first new music from the singer since his Gone Too Soon EP released last year. The title track of the EP has amassed over 85 million on-demand streams to date. Upon the official release of “Gone Too Soon,” Jannakos earned a #1 debut on Billboard’s Emerging Artist Chart, while the track landed at #12 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and within the Hot 100.

Morgan Wade Delivers Both Sides of the Night —

“The Night”/ “The Night (Part 2)” Vinyl Double-Side Pre-Sale Starts Today

Morgan Wade landed hard, with songs that slashed like a boxcutter through ennui, major depression and a world that just didn’t care. The Floyd, Virginia singer/songwriter with a heart like a wild horse wrote like she was running for her life – and it all started with “The Night.” The self-financed single co-written with co-producer Sadler Vaden (of Jason Isbell’s 400 Unit) had an urgency that connected across streaming platforms – and led to her debut project RecklessRolling Stone Country’s No. 1 Album of 2021.

A lot has happened since that first indie single, but Wade has always followed her drive to take the music to the people who want it, need it, even live inside it. The past two years have included two trips to Europe, stadium shows, tours with Lucero, Chris Stapleton, Country Music Hall of Famers Brooks & Dunn and her own sold-out headlining dates tucked in with even more on the calendar.

“I’ve been going hard since Reckless came out,” Wade told live music trade Pollstar, announcing her No Signs of Slowing Down 2023 Tour. “And we’re not stopping. If people want to hear this music, we’re gonna bring it, but now we’re gonna bring it all. … There’s that demand from people who haven’t been able to see a whole show. They want this music, and we’re gonna give it to them!”

Giving people her all has been the defining reality in a genre-blurring career marked by bracing honesty, shocking vulnerability and strength unrivalled. Writing about desire, drugs, deep depression and barely holding on, she built on the promise of “The Night” a canon: RecklessReckless (Deluxe Edition) and Acoustic Sessions. Now she delivers an old school 7” vinyl of “The Night” and its moody follow-up “The Night (Part 2)” to release Nov. 11.

More electronic and subdued, “The Night (Part 2)” considers her reckoning with desperation and the daily battle to hang on – even from the other side of rehab and recovery. Across a shimmering, minimalist track, she confesses, “I’m at war with myself, battered and bruised from my mental health…” as the bass throbs and keyboard notes drop, the rare guitar figure slithers under her plaintive vocal.

“This stuff is real,” she explains. “These songs are for anyone who knows the struggle, who battles these things and is trying to hold on. Even when things are going right, you’re working to stay where you want or need to be. People who don’t deal with this stuff… they don’t realize it’s always a battle, that it’s tiring. It’s where ‘The Night (Part 2)’ came from, and why I wanted there to be a physical piece people could hang onto.”

“One bad day from falling back, one bad day from relapse… I’m not above it, I know I’m not…,” Wade sings on the haunting sequel. She reminds listeners the struggle is real, to be vigilant and not give up. Just as importantly, she shines as an example of a sober life lived bolding and at the edge. Her performance shows a woman struggling with the powerful emotions, but also rising to the freedom her songs, band and living on her terms provide.

With writing for a new album starting to emerge, “The Night”/ “The Night (Part 2)” vinyl serves as a bridge from where the 2022 Americana Music Association Emerging Act of the Year nominee started and is heading. For those fans who’ve been here for the entire journey, the double A-side disc serves as a talisman of a young writer emerging and crystalizing her truth and her life – and for fans of the sort of raw songwriting that’s marked female artists from Joni Mitchell to Taylor Swift, Patty Griffin to Loretta Lynn, it caps the arrival of an artist who will document even the toughest moments.

A resident on Best of 2021 lists from TIME, The FADER, Rolling Stone, Stereogum, Billboard, Whiskey Riff and more, Morgan Wade’s cut-to-the-bone country made an impression on anyone who heard her wide-open vocals, brutally honest songs and lean rock-country debut. Pre-order/save/add HERE.

RESTLESS ROAD RELEASES “SUNDOWN SOMEWHERE”

RESTLESS ROAD RELEASES “SUNDOWN SOMEWHERE”

New Song and Music Video Filmed While On Tour In Australia Out Now

Bar Friends Tour Currently Taking Place Across The Country With Stops in Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle and More

Restless Road trio (Zach Beeken, Garrett Nichols and Colton Pack) released a new song and music video “Sundown Somewhere,” today. The singer/songwriters known for their stellar harmonies recently returned from their first international touring dates in Australia and New Zealand, where they took the opportunity to film the new video along Australia’s coast. The song is available to listen to HERE and the video is available now here

“We couldn’t believe that fans were singing our songs back to us halfway around the world at these shows! What really sent the trip over the top was that we got to film a music video for our new song ‘Sundown Somewhere’ in Newcastle, Australia. We knew we wanted to really show all of what Australia has to offer in this video, so we used a local director and crew. This was a trip that we will never forget and can’t wait to get back”, shared Colton Pack.

Written by Cole Swindell, Ben Hayslip, Jacob Rice, and Cole Taylor, “Sundown Somewhere”  highlights the hope of meeting that future someone you’re meant to be with and has been highly anticipated by fans since the band first teased the song weeks ago.

“No matter what point you’re at in life, we’ve all dreamed about the person we’re going to end up with. Where they are, what they look like, and what they’re like. ‘Sundown Somewhere’ is a song that really captures that feeling and the moment we heard it we were excited to record it and get it out to our fans,” shared Garrett Nichols.

Highlighted as a Pandora Artist to Watch and nominated for Country Now’s “Favorite Breakthrough Artist” Award, the harmony-driven trio has been named as “one of the most intriguing and exciting acts of the year” and independently amassed a following of over 3 Million followers on social media. The band was recently named by The Grand Ole Opry this year as ‘Opry Next Stage’ artists- marking the first time a band has ever been selected and they’ve successfully racked up tens of millions of streams on their singles “Bar Friends”, “Growing Old With You”, and “Headlights” after releasing their debut self-titled EP in February 2020. Restless Road is currently on their nationwide headlining tour, the BAR FRIENDS TOUR, which recently resumed after a break to tour internationally on Kane Brown’s Drunk or Dreaming Tour in Australia and New Zealand. For a full list of tour dates and ticket information, visit here.

Sundown Somewhere Lyrics:

The one that’s gonna make me wanna give her everything

Slow down my wild side

Take me on a wild ride

The one that’s gonna get me thinkin’ bout a diamond ring

The one my mama meets

My little meant to be

I wanna make her fall

say some things I’ve never said

the only problem is I ain’t met her yet but

Right now, some town, sundown somewhere

Ray-Ban, windows down, blowin’ round her long hair

Don’t even know her name, but I know she’s out there

Right now, some town, sundown somewhere

She might be out in California, might be Tennessee

Maybe the gulf coast, maybe right down the road

Can’t help but wonder if she’s wondering about me

Feelin’ a little lost waiting on our paths to cross

Right now, some town, sundown somewhere

Ray-Ban, windows down, blowin’ round her long hair

Don’t even know her name, but I know she’s out there

Right now, some town, sundown somewhere

Right now, some town, sundown somewhere someday

It’s gonna be worth the wait

But right now, some town, sundown somewhere

Ray-Ban, windows down, blowin’ round her long hair

Don’t even know her name, but I know she’s out there

Right now, some town, sundown somewhere

Sundown somewhere

Sundown somewhere

Sundown somewhere
