MAREN MORRIS UNVEILS HUMBLE QUEST: IN RARE FORM
FEATURING ACOUSTIC VERSIONS OF SEVEN TRACKS FROM HUMBLE QUEST
HEADLINING NASHVILLE’S BRIDGESTONE ARENA DECEMBER 2
Today, Grammy-winning artist Maren Morris unveils Humble Quest: In Rare Form, featuring seven stripped-back versions of tracks from her critically acclaimed album Humble Quest, accompanied by videos directed by Nicki Fletcher and Mason Allen—listen here and watch here. Maren and her band self-produced the project, which was recorded at her bandmate Bennett Lewis’ summer camp Camp Wayfarer in Flat Rock, North Carolina during a break from tour.
“In Rare Form came as an idea to me near the end of my tour when my band and I had worked so hard every show to find new moments to make each performance magical and unique,” Maren says. “We were able to reimagine the songs of Humble Questin this very stripped, beautiful form at sunset on a hill in North Carolina. No lighting, no bells and whistles, just Mother Nature, music and friendship.”
Maren’s North American headline Humble Quest Tour, which included stops at The Hollywood Bowl, Radio City Music Hall, Red Rocks and several more legendary venues, will conclude with her biggest ever Nashville show at the Bridgestone Arena next month—visit marenmorris.com/tour for full details.
Humble Quest, released in March via Sony Music Nashville’s Columbia Nashville imprint and nominated for Album Of The Year at this year’s CMA Awards, debuted at #2 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and broke the record for most first day and first week streams globally on Amazon Music for a country album by a female artist. Additionally, the album’s lead single, “Circles Around This Town,” is newly Gold-certified.

TENILLE TOWNES IMPRESSES ON CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED, TWELVE-SHOW INTERNATIONAL TOUR
Reigning CCMA Entertainer of the Year Performs in Australia, Ireland, the U.K., Netherlands and Germany with Multiple Sold-Out Shows
Two-time ACM Award winner and reigning CCMA Entertainer of the Year Tenille Towneswrapped her month-long, twelve-show world tour on Tuesday at the Häkken in Hamburg, Germany. The critically acclaimed international tour saw Townes playing in Australia at CMC Rocks, Ireland, the U.K., Netherlands and Germany.
The European leg of the tour began at the Workman’s Club in Dublin, where Townes played an intimate acoustic set, which Lonesome Highway hailed as “one of those shows where you knew that it was special to be in the room.”
In Belfast, BRELAND joined Townes on stage for a special performance of their song “Shared Walls” off her latest project, Masquerades. Watch a clip HERE.
The remainder of her U.K. dates – Glasgow, Bristol, London and Manchester – were all sold-out, but taking to herInstagram and TikTok, Townes shared the story of how the show almost didn’t go on when her tour manager/driver fell ill and was unable to drive her and her bandmates to the next city. However, as Townes said, “there are really good people in this world and people who are willing to be a friend and lend a helping hand” as Catalin Toma, a Romanian hotel chef in Penrith, kindly dropped everything to drive Townes, her crew and band to Bristol and London.
“I’m so in awe of the incredible audiences I got to hang out with around this beautiful world… music truly is a universal language and it moved me to tears multiple times on this tour hearing people singing along to these songs in so many different places,” shared Townes. “It felt like we’re all neighbors. I love our community of music lovers and I can’t wait to keep travelling around this world and witnessing the way these songs keep bringing us together. I had the best time and it’s truly been a run of some of my favourite shows I’ve ever played.”
In September, Townes co-hosted the CCMA Awards where she won Entertainer of the Year, Spotify Female Artist of the Year for the fourth consecutive year, Ford F-150 Album of the Year for Masquerades, and Single and Songwriter of the Year for “Girl Who Didn’t Care” (co-written with Steph Jones & David Pramik).
Townes also recently dropped her first full-length concert film, recorded at her sold-out show at Nashville’s EXIT/IN, available to view here.
The renowned songwriter and performer, who most recently released her heart-breaking new release “The Last Time,” will continue her SAME ROAD HOME TOUR in the U.S. and Canada before embarking on the SIDE A + B TOUR in January. More info and tickets are available here.

ELLE KING RELEASES SPIRITED NEW TRACK “TRY JESUS” FROM UPCOMING ALBUM COME GET YOUR WIFE
Listen Here
“Try Jesus” Music Video Directed by Edi Patterson (The Righteous Gemstones)
Watch Here
The road to Elle King’s forthcoming album “Come Get Your Wife,” out January 27 and available for pre-order today, is not one you would find on Google Maps. It’s full of dirt roads from her youth spent in rural Ohio (a nod to that on the album’s opening track), pot holes and bumper-to-bumper traffic on the streets in New York and L.A. and some uncharted routes to London and Nashville.
The new project pulls from all that influence and life lived on the road and the result is a dozen authentic tracks that could be the musical autobiography of her life. One of those tracks, “Try Jesus,” and the hilariously, ingenious music video are out today (watchhere). Co-written by King, the irreverent but not blasphemous song finds her looking for a more fulfilling relationship since all the guys in her life are letting her down. ‘“Try Jesus’ came at a time I was trying to give my life over to something greater – and you can feel it,” says King. The tongue-in-cheek song is awash in thick gospel choir wail with just enough church organ to witness.
With a song as fresh as “Try Jesus,” the video needed that same sass and fun so King reached out to a co-star of her favorite series to see if she would join for the video. “The Righteous Gemstones is one of my favorite shows and I adore and have a hell-a respect for Edi Patterson who plays Judy Gemstone,” says King. “She responded quickly to my DM and said she would love to work together. She came up with the concept and believe it or not this is her directorial debut! She’s such a pro and brought this energy, focus and joy to the set and I’m so excited this video is finally out!”
Of the video, Patterson added, “My goal with the concept for this video and for the execution of it was to have an idea that helped Elle feel totally free to be completely gorgeous and wildly funny. Spoiler alert- she’s really, really good at both.”
In addition to “Try Jesus,” with the Oct. 21 pre-order (link here), fans also have access to previously released tracks “Out Yonder,” her current single “Worth A Shot” (featuring Dierks Bentley) and the smash, award winning song “Drunk (And I Don’t Want To Go Home)” with Miranda Lambert. The platinum certified single marked the first female-female collaboration to reach the top spot of Country Airplay chart since 1993!
“This whole album is a crazy quilt of all sorts of moments and things that might not seem to go together, but because they’re me, they do,” says King. “It’s very Southern Ohio, very who we are – and very much a lot of people who are just like me, because I know they’re out there.”
Come Get Your Wife sharpens King’s gaze, digs into her roots, puts her banjo front and center and creates a record that’s as alive and electric as she is. Taking all the pieces – the rock, soul, (blue)grass and country that she loves – she’s made an album that demands your attention, then delivers on all cylinders.

KARLEY SCOTT COLLINS SHARES RETROSPECTIVE NEW TRACK, “BETTER STRANGERS”
Sony Music Nashville singer-songwriter Karley Scott Collins released her latest track today, “Better Strangers.” In the new tune, which the standout newcomer co-wrote with award winning lyricist Liz Rose, Collins dwells on a past relationship she wishes she could overwrite. Listen here.
“‘Better Strangers’ was first inspired by a Shakespeare line that really struck a chord with me, ‘I do desire we may be better strangers,’” shared Collins. “After the end of a relationship, there was a time I wished I’d never met that person. Although that heartbreak helped shape who I am today, I still wish I could meet the girl I would’ve been if that relationship never happened. I hope this song connects to anyone who’s ever felt like they lost a part of themselves to a heartbreak.”
With “Better Strangers,” the multifaceted artist continues her tradition of painting her own cover art. “For this song, I wanted to paint a comic version of myself,” said Collins. Watch her create the masterpiece here.
“Better Strangers” follows her latest release, “Tattoos.” Billboard lauded Collins’ “gritty” voice on the “moody, sultry piece,” while CMT called out her “country-rock vocals,” deeming the song a “potential chart-topping hit.” Earlier this year, she dropped her debut offering, “Heavenly,” which Country Swag called “beautiful and poetic” while pointing out Collins “is a true visionary.”
The singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, who is also signed to Warner Chappell Music, moved from her hometown of Lake City, Florida to Nashville three years ago, armed with words and melodies she’s been collecting and writing for nearly a decade. Collins grew up listening to metal bands such as Guns N’ Roses and Alice in Chains with her dad on her way to elementary school, idolizing Bob Dylan, and immersing herself in novels by the likes of Cormac McCarthy.
Her artistic depth is tempered with youthful wonder and her rich, power-house voice. At their focal points, her songs are diary-ripped lyrics wrapped in lush instrumentation neatly folding in her myriad of wide-ranging influences including The Eagles, Stevie Nicks, Leonard Cohen, and Willie Nelson.
Recently, Collins toured alongside Caitlin Smith, Nate Smith, and Little Big Town. For upcoming tour dates, visitKarleyScottCollins.com.

KANE BROWN RECOGNIZED WITH “CHAMPION OF YOUTH” AWARD AT THE 75th “NATIONAL YOUTH OF THE YEAR” FOR HIS SUPPORT OF BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS NATIONWIDE
Boys & Girls Clubs of America Also Awards D.C. Teen with $50,000 Scholarship, a Toyota Corolla, and a $5,000 Kohl’s Gift Card, During Star-Studded Annual “National Youth of the Year” Celebration
Last week at the Beverly Hills Hilton, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the nation’s leading youth non-profit organization, honored country music artist and Boys & Girls Clubs of America supporter, Kane Brown, with the “2022 Champion of Youth Award” in recognition of his commitment to serving young people. The Champion of Youth Award is bestowed to individuals for exhibiting above and beyond service to Boys & Girls Clubs. Previous recipients include NBA star Lebron James, entertainer Jennifer Lopez, Olympic champion Michael Phelps and the late former Secretary of State Colin Powell.
Other attendees and advocates included Emmy Award-winning actor Courtney B. Vance, Entertainment Tonight co-host Nischelle Turner, American singer and songwriter Miguel, WWE Superstar Titus O’Neil and The Miz and Oscar-award-winning costume designer and Boys & Girls Clubs alumna, Ruth Carter. Additionally, Asha H-R. was named its 2022-2023 National Youth of the Year in a star-studded 75th anniversary celebration ceremony, sponsored by Toyota, Kohl’s and Mondelēz International.
Typically held in Washington D.C., this year marked the organization’s first debut in Los Angeles, gathering honorable Boys & Girls Clubs alumni, staff, partners and celebrity supporters at the culminating celebration of teens awarded on the local, state and regional levels throughout the year. Asha H-R was selected among six finalists to receive the prestigious honor of the National title, representing over 4 million youth in Boys & Girls Clubs across the nation.
At nine years old, Asha quickly found a sense of community at her local Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington, calling it her “chosen home” ever since. “My Club wasn’t just a safe, affordable after-school option for my parents, it opened up doors of possibility and shut the windows of my insecurities. The table was set, and I had a seat, not because of who I was, but because of who I was becoming,” she said.
Often being recognized for her outstanding work in leadership, volunteering and advocacy, she found a special passion for addressing the issue of food insecurity with local food pantries in the Washington D.C. community. In fact, in the last year, Asha served meals to over 400 families, reminding her that she can always make a local impact to global issues. Aspiring to be the future President of the United States, Asha hopes to study public affairs and work closely with the D.C. Public School Board to address key issues in her local community and beyond.
Youth of the Year is Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s premier recognition program for Club teens. As the highest honor a Club member can receive, the National Youth of the Year represents Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the voices of over four million Club youth it serves. For 75 years, the Youth of the Year program has recognized young people for their outstanding leadership, service, academic excellence, and dedication to living a healthy lifestyle.
