ANDREW JANNAKOS FINDS CHURCH IN NATURE WITH NEW SONG, “MEET MY MAKER”

Rising singer-songwriter Andrew Jannakos shared his new track today, “Meet My Maker.” Listen here.

Written by Jannakos along with Andy Albert, Karen Kosowski, and Emma Lee, the song recounts the singer’s experiences of feeling close to God when he’s out in nature.

Jannakos said of the track: “‘Meet My Maker’ came about when I realized every time I was in the outdoors, I would catch myself talking to the Good Lord. Asking for forgiveness or just talking to Him to get some things off my chest. And if you haven’t got to experience it before, it’s something that will just stop you in your tracks. To get to watch the sun cross over and begin to rise, to hear all the animals come to life and watch them start off a new day with no clue you’re there. It’s something you’ll never forget, and it’s where I Meet My Maker.”

Earlier this year, Jannakos released “Gettin’ There,” which was considered a “New Country Song You Need To Hear Right Now” by Country NowThe Nash News lauded his voice on the track, calling it “as smooth as can be.” Additionally, Jannakos recently debuted his song, “Heaven’s Like A Hometown,” which CMT praised that it not only shows off his “colorful knack for songwriting, but [also] his robust vocals made for the radio,” while Country Now deemed the song “a slice of nostalgia with a whole lot of heart.”

LUKE COMBS’ NEW SONG “5 LEAF CLOVER” OUT TODAY

NEW ALBUM “GETTIN’ OLD” OUT NEXT FRIDAY

RECORD-BREAKING WORLD TOUR BEGINS MARCH 25

“one of music’s mightiest voices and a hitmaking force arguably unlike any seen out of Nashville this century”—USA Today

“a superstar who is shaping the future of the genre while also serving as one of its fiercest defenders”
The Washington Post

March 17, 2023—Country superstar and reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year Luke Combs’ new song, “5 Leaf Clover,” written by Combs, Jessi Alexander and Chase McGill, is out today. Listen/share HERE

Of the song, Combs shares, “A while back my buddy Newdy and I were looking around the clover plot at my house for 4 leaf clovers. I eventually found one, but shortly thereafter, he found a 5 leaf clover and I thought to myself, ‘Man, how lucky do you have to be to find a 5 leaf clover?’ Didn’t think too much of it at the time but wrote that down as a title in my phone. A few weeks later, I was writing with Jessi Alexander and Chase McGill and it came up. It still wasn’t really anything that jumped off the page to me, but I shared the idea and guitar melody I had with them and they loved it. We ended up writing the song that day. I eventually started playing it at shows and posting a video of the song, and y’all quickly let me know it was one I had to record; that’s why I’m super pumped for y’all to finally hear it!”

“5 Leaf Clover” is the fourth song unveiled from Combs’ new album, Gettin’ Old—a companion to his acclaimed 2022 record, Growin’ Up—which will be released next Friday, March 24 via River House Artists/Columbia Nashville (pre-order here). Produced by Combs, Chip Matthews and Jonathan SingletonGettin’ Old is Combs’ fourth full-length album following Growin’ Up, 2019’s 3x Platinum What You See is What You Get and his 4x Platinum debut, This One’s For You. Across these eighteen tracks, including a rendition of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car,” Combs continues to establish himself as one of music’s most authentic and powerful voices, as he explores themes of family, legacy, love and personal growth.

Ahead of the release, Combs has unveiled three album tracks: “Joe,” “Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old” and “Love You Anyway,” of which The New York Times praises, “His bellow is more stable, his emotional presence more dignified. But there’s still something of a purring engine inside songs like ‘Love You Anyway,’” while Billboarddeclares, “it immediately sounds like one of his strongest to date.”

The album adds to a historic career for Combs, who extended his record-breaking run at country radio this week as his single, “Going, Going, Gone,” reached #1. This is Combs’ 15th consecutive #1 single—the longest consecutive streak for an artist since their debut—and makes Combs one of the fastest to accumulate 15 #1s, joining the ranks of Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson and Alabama. Additionally, Combs recently earned 26 new Platinum and Gold RIAA certifications.

Furthermore, Combs will kick off his massive World Tour next weekend with sixteen North American stadium shows, all of which sold out immediately. With 39 shows across 3 continents and 16 countries, the record-breaking run is the largest tour ever for a country artist. The upcoming trek includes shows at Arlington, TX’s AT&T Stadium, Nashville’s Nissan Stadium and Foxborough’s Gillette Stadium, as well as stops in Australia, New Zealand, U.K., Ireland, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, France and Belgium. See below for complete tour itinerary.

Reflecting on the record, Combs shares, “This album is about the stage of life I’m in right now. One that I’m sure a lot of us are in, have been through, or will go through. It’s about coming of age, loving where life is now but at the same time missing how it used to be, continuing to fall for the one you love and loving them no matter what, living in the moment but still wondering how much time you have left, family, friends, being thankful, and leaving a legacy. Me and so many others have poured their hearts and souls into this record, and I hope you love it as much as we do.”

A member of the Grand Ole Opry and an 8x CMA, 3x ACM, 3x Billboard Music Award-winner, Combs is in the midst of a historic series of years. Most recently, he was named CMA Entertainer of the Year for the second-consecutive year this past November and recently earned his record-setting, fourteenth-consecutive #1 single with “The Kind of Love We Make.” Continuing his monumental run at country radio, Combs’ current single, “Going, Going, Gone,” is currently top 3 and rising. Additionally, with his 2019 release, What You See Ain’t Always What You Get, Combs reached #1 on Rolling Stone’s Top 200 Albums chart, Top 100 Songs chart and Artists 500 chart—the first country artist ever to lead all three charts in the same week and first to top the Artists 500.

MEGAN MORONEY IS BUZZIN’ OVER DEBUT ALBUM ANNOUNCE WITH LUCKY OUT MAY 5

GAMBLES ON POUR DECISIONS WITH TITLE TRACK DROPPING MARCH 10

Sony Music Nashville/Columbia Records’ rising star Megan Moroney is announcing today (3/2) that her debut album, LUCKY, drops May 5 and fans can pre-save/pre-add now. Gambling on pour decisions, the luck-struck title track is the next taste of the hotly anticipated project and will release March 10.

“After we wrote the title track ‘Lucky,’ I knew I wanted it to be the name of my debut album,” shares Moroney. “If you know anything about me and my story, a lot of things (both good and bad) happened to get me to where I am today, and I just feel very lucky. I couldn’t live out this dream without the support of my fans, family, and team. I can’t wait to bring these songs on the road with me this year and I hope everyone loves them as much as I do!”

Co-written by Moroney with Casey Smith, Ben Williams, and David “Messy” Mescon, the Kristian Bush-produced “Lucky” follows her latest hit “I’m Not Pretty,” which has Billboard raving about “a cheeky, defiant clapback,” and MusicRow applauding, “This clever, femme-centric ditty confirms her status as a first-class, off-center, wonderfully creative Country artist.” Catapulting onto the scene with her viral breakout “Tennessee Orange,” the Top 25-and-climbing at Country radio track was recently the #1 weekly streamed song by a solo female Country artist and has amassed nearly 140 MILLION total global on-demand streams to date.

Praised byCMT as the “musical risktaker with powerhouse pipes,” Moroney is a part of the CMT Next Women of Country Class of 2023 and was named a “2023 Artist to Watch” by Amazon Music, Pandora, Spotify, and more. Spotlighted as one of SiriusXM’s “2023 Future Five,” Holler further predicted, “Megan Moroney has a smooth, honeyed voice that combines with a casual, conversational charm to make her one to watch in 2023.”

Kicking off her first headlining PISTOL MADE OF ROSES TOUR next month, she’s also slated to support Country music icons Brooks & Dunn this summer. For full tour dates and ticketing information, visit meganmoroney.com.

NATE SMITH DROPS TWO NEW TRACKS FROM UPCOMING SELF-TITLED ALBUM, “BETTER BOY” AND “OIL SPOT”

APPEARED ON “THE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JIMMY FALLON” WEDNESDAY – WATCH HERE

Today, breakout star Nate Smith dropped two new tracks from his upcoming self-titled, debut album, “Better Boy” and “Oil Spot.” Listen here. The full album arrives April 28.

Nate made his late-night TV debut Wednesday evening on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” where he performed his Platinum-certified, No. 1 single “Whiskey On You.” Watch his performance here.

The appearance arrives on the heels of the hit topping the country radio charts for two weeks in a row. Adding to the song’s accolades, “Whiskey On You” was also No. 1 on Canada’s country radio chart for six weeks – making the song the longest running No. 1 country debut by a male vocalist in their chart history.

Nate was recognized on multiple 2023 “Artist to Watch” lists this year including Amazon’s Breakthrough Artists to Watch, MusicRow’s Next Big Thing, CMT’s Listen Up, CRS New Faces, among others. With his first No. 1 under his belt and his debut album set to arrive April 28, Smith proves to be “powering through his own lane and will only go up from here” (MusicRow).

ate shared about the impending full-length project: “It has been so much fun making this album, and I really believe in every one of these songs. Releasing an album has always been a goal of mine, but at the end of the day it’s really not about me. It’s about being able to reach other people with music that means something.” He adds that his mission with his music is to be a “conduit of hope”; a selfless and passionate driving force that’s thematic in his songs. “I’m not trying to be cool, or reinvent the wheel, or chase musical trends…I’m going after the heart of the matter.”

Nate’s journey to Nashville and the challenges he endured along the way are traceable in his gravelly tone, including losing his hometown of Paradise, CA to Camp Fire, the deadliest and most destructive fire in the state’s history. Following the fire, Nate turned to music to cope, eventually inspiring a cross-country road trip to Nashville to pursue music fulltime.

Through all the hardships, the rising star found purpose and hope. Like Nate, the 20-song collection is honest, raw, real, and threaded together with optimism. While each song tells its own story, Nate unveils two sides of his artistry through the project: deep, heartfelt ballads and fun-loving, drink in the air, country jams. The two are intertwined with undeniable hooks and his signature velvet thunder vocals.

Nate will be joining Thomas Rhett on his HOME TEAM TOUR 23, which will kick off May 4 in Des Moines, IA, and will hit a total of 40 cities this summer. Tickets are on sale now. For tour dates, tickets, and additional information, visit NateSmithOfficial.com.

COUNTRY NEWCOMER KARLEY SCOTT COLLINS DELIVERS NOSTALGIC NEW TRACK “PETTY IN THE 80S”

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Sony Music Nashville recording artist Karley Scott Collins continues to impress with her unique blend of Country music that honors the craft of songwriting as well as her bold vocal delivery on her latest release, “Petty in the 80s,” available everywhere today.

LISTEN TO “PETTY IN THE 80S” HERE

“I have a habit of really overthinking things in my life, especially when it comes to love,” shares Collins. “‘Petty in the 80s’ is about doing the exact opposite of that, just having fun, letting go, and letting yourself free fall. I’m a huge fan of Tom Petty and he’s always been a massive inspiration for the music I write, so it’s really cool and fun for me to get to reference and honor his music through this song.”

Collins has always been inspired by the past, whether it was rock-and-roll bands she heard through the radio waves as a child or stories she read in literature – making this new release an ode to her old soul influences. Penning the track with Brock Berryhill and Josh Miller, the songstress smoothly combines her vocal grit with a poetic spin to tell the tale of letting go of hesitation and free falling into love. Showcasing a new relationship’s excitement with lyrics about the perfect balance between flying and staying grounded, this is her first release of 2023.

The Lake City, Fla. native finds her comfort in songwriting, but her favorite moments are on stage performing her original tracks, most recently she hit the road with Nate Smith. Dubbed as “a true visionary” by Country Swag and backed by power teams at Sony Music Nashville, Sandbox Entertainment, CAA, and Warner Chappell Music the future of her career is undoubtedly bright.

Don’t miss Collins on Feb. 22 at the Girls of Nashville show at City Winery in Nashville co-hosted by songwriter Laura Veltz along with Heather Morgan and Mags Duval, tickets available here. Keep up with Collins on InstagramTikTokFacebook,YouTube, and her website.

MEGAN MORONEY RELEASES NEW ‘ANTHEM FOR THE GIRLS,’ “I’M NOT PRETTY”

Buzzworthy new artist Megan Moroney debuts her latest track today, “I’m Not Pretty.” Listen to the song and watch the visualizer HERE.

Written by Moroney alongside Ben Williams, Micah Carpenter, and Mackenzie Carpenter, the track is a quippy take on the singer’s own experience of an ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend scrolling through her Instagram and accidentally liking an old photo.

“It’s a mostly true story (you can find the spring break throwback pic on my Instagram) but not meant to be taken too seriously,” Moroney said. “I think everyone can relate to somebody keeping tabs on them on social media. It was fun to write and it’s fun to sing and hopefully will become an anthem for the girls.”

Earlier this year, the “musical risktaker with powerhouse pipes” (CMT) shared the music video for her hit song “Tennessee Orange.” Watch here. The track was recently the #1 weekly streamed song by a solo female country artist and has amassed over 120 million total global on-demand streams to date. It’s currently climbing the country radio charts.

Following an explosive 2022 led by the success of “Tennessee Orange,” Moroney was dubbed as a “2023 Artist to Watch” by Amazon, Spotify, Pandora, and Country Now, as well as one of CMT’s Next Women of Country for 2023. Additionally, she was crowned the “2022 New Artist of the Year” by Country Central and named one of SiriusXM’s “2023 Future Five.” Holler predicted that her “smooth, honeyed voice that combines with a casual, conversational charm [will] make her one to watch in 2023.”

Moroney recently toured alongside artists such as Larry Fleet, Jamey Johnson, and Warren Zeiders, and is now set to launch her headlining PISTOL MADE OF ROSES tour this spring and open for country music icons Brooks & Dunn this summer. For dates and additional info, visit meganmoroney.com.

Born and raised in Georgia, Moroney grew up in a musical household heavily influenced by legendary songwriters in classic country, southern rock, and americana. During her freshman year at the University of Georgia, an opportunity to open for an established country artist at the iconic Georgia Theatre prompted Moroney to write her very first original song. From there, she developed a love for storytelling and has become known for her distinctive voice and honest, conversational lyrics.
