MIRANDA LAMBERT PLAYS HER WILDCARD

Miranda Lambert’s hotly anticipated seventh studio album Wildcard will arrive Nov. 1 on Vanner Records/RCA Records Nashville.

“When people listen to this record, I want them to know that I see them and hear them,” said Lambert. “I feel you, because I’m just a girl from East Texas, writing about all the things that go on in my world and in the worlds of people around me. I want people to get along, you know, just be who you are, own it and move on from the moments you couldn’t live in.”

Her first collaboration with producer Jay Joyce, Wildcard moves from fraught, taut rock & roll to gentle folk, classic Wurlitzer country and a bit of funky gospel with Lambert’s signature wit and tongue-in-cheek humor permeating throughout.

The Grammy Award winner celebrated today’s announcement by releasing the latest peek inside the project – “Bluebird,” which she co-wrote with Luke Dick and Natalie Hemby. The album also features “infectious” (Billboard), Top 25 lead single “It All Comes Out in the Wash,” as well as recently-released “foot-stompin’ barnburner” (NPR) “Locomotive” and “crunchy, frisky jam” (Stereogum) “Mess with My Head.” Additional album details will be revealed soon.

An ACM, AMA, Billboard and CMT nominee, Brown first broke through the country charts with his debut self-titled album, which debuted #1 on the Billboard Top Country Album charts and spent 13 weeks at the top of the chart.

Brown’s latest collaboration, the “brutally catchy” (Rolling Stone) “One Thing Right” with internationally renowned DJ/producer Marshmello has already been streamed more than 90 million times worldwide, and can be found  HERE . In addition to Brown’s vocal highlighted on the track, which “shines with his deep twang that is both warm and dangerous,” (Rolling Stone) Brown co-wrote “One Thing Right” with Marshmello, Jesse Frasure, Josh Hoge and Matthew McGinn. After originally meeting at the 2018 American Music Awards, where Brown won three awards (Favorite Male Artist – Country, Favorite Album – Country, and Favorite Song – Country for “Heaven”) and Marshmello took home Best Electronic Dance Artist, the two record-breaking entertainers will bring “One Thing Right” to GMA’s Summer Concert Series on August 30.
